Saint Andrew's Lodge No.34 is an European Concept Lodge, open to receive petitions for new Brothers, and affilitation by all Master Masons hailing from any Grand Lodge in amity with the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Utah. Saint Andrew's Lodge No.34 believes very strongly that the foremost purpose of Freemasonry is to provide an atmosphere where good men can unite together in a common pursuit of virtue in service to God. The work of a European Concept Lodge is not to review minutes or bills, but rather to create an atmosphere where the members can learn the lessons of Freemasonry and how they can be inculcated into their daily lives.
Saint Andrew's Lodge No.34 practices European Concept Masonry through a strict adherence to the practice of the Festive Board, and the Quaterly Meeting. In short, Saint Andrew's Lodge No.34 gives Freemasons the opportunity to partake in a ritual and sociability that they cannot find anywhere else. European Concept Lodges allow Brothers to move their minds from the mundane to the Fraternal, away from life's petty particulars to focus on its transcendent meaning.
